Visit some of the best Castles and National Trust properties Wales has to offer. You will visit one of Wales oldest castles in Chepstow and the former home of the Morgan family, Tredegar House.
You will stay in the 4 star Jurys Inn Cardiff with breakfast and dinner included in the price you pay. Lunches on 4 of the days is provided too.

Itinerary
- Arrive in Cardiff
- Free time around Cardiff city centre
- 3pm: Check in to the Jurys Inn Cardiff
- 10:30am: Depart the hotel by luxury coach
- 11am-12pm: The coach will firstly take you to Tredegar House.
A 17th Century home belonging to the world-famous Morgan family. - 12pm-1pm: Lunch in The Brewhouse Café in Tredegar House.
- 1:15pm-1:25pm: Travel to Newport Transporter Bridge for pictures.
Opened in 1906 and is a Grade I listed Structure. - 1:45pm-3pm: Caerleon Amphitheatre.
Built in approximately AD 90 and once held around 6,000 spectators. - 3:30pm: Arrive back at the hotel
- 10:10am: Luxury coach departs the hotel
- 10:30am-11:30am: Explore Castell Coch.
A 13th Century castle that has been the filming locations for many TV series and films including the BBC drama Wolf Hall. - 11:45am-12:45pm: Caerphilly Castle
Wales biggest castle and the second biggest castle in the United Kingdom. - 1pm-2pm: Lunch in Casa Mia overlooking Caerphilly castle. Dishes include: Tapas, pizza, pasta, steak, fish and desserts
- 2:30pm: Arrive back at the hotel
- 10:10am: Luxury coach departs the hotel
- 11am-12pm: Explore Blaenavon Ironworks.
The Ironworks were at the forefront of the industrial revolution in Wales and provided materials for the construction of bridges, railways and ships. - 12:10-12:50pm: Lunch at the Heritage Tea Rooms located in Blaenavon World Heritage Centre. The cafe offers fresh cake, hot food and drink.
- 1pm-2pm: Arrive at the Big Pit.
A coal mine museum where visitors can go 300 feet underground. - 2:10pm-2:30pm: Visit Blaenafon Cheddar Company shop
- 3:30pm: Arrive back at the hotel
- 9:45am: Luxury coach departs the hotel
- 10:30am- 11:30am: Walk around Chepstow Castle
Building on Chepstow Castle began in 1067 making it one of Wales oldest castles. - 11:45am-12:45pm: Caldicot Castle. Arriving at 11:45am and spend an hour there.
This Grade I listed building belonged to descendants of royalty centuries ago. - 1:05pm-2:30pm: Arrive at the Anchor Inn in Tintern. An award winning pub that serves classic pub food.
(a one-minute walk away from Tintern Abbey). - 2:30pm-3:30pm: Look around Tintern Abbey.
Founded in 1131, this monastery of Gothic architecture sits next to the River Wye. - 4pm-5pm: Explore Raglan Castle.
A fortress-palace is surrounded by a moat that was created by Sir William ap Thomas who was known as the ‘Blue Knight of Gwent’. - 5:45pm: Arrive back at the hotel

- 10:30am-12pm: Visit Cardiff Castle
An 11th century medieval castle located in the heart of Cardiff. - 12pm onwards: Free time around Cardiff City Centre
- 10:30am: Depart hotel for St Fagans National Museum of History
- 10:50am-12:30pm: Visit St Fagans
A museum that brings to life the history of Wales giving visitors a good glimpse Welsh life from the 16th century to the 20th century - 12:50pm-2:30pm: Free time around Cardiff Bay
